Terms of Service

1. Training Packages

Training packages are designed as a complete training program and are intended to be completed within a reasonable timeframe. Package pricing reflects a discounted rate offered in exchange for your commitment to the full program.

2. Payment

Payment is due following the first training session unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

3. Refund Policy

All training package purchases are final and non-refundable.

Packages are sold as a complete training program rather than as individual sessions. If a client chooses to discontinue training, pursue another or program, or otherwise does not complete the package, unused sessions are not eligible for reimbursement.

At the trainer's sole discretion, unused sessions may be placed on pause, extended due to exceptional circumstances, or applied toward another eligible service.

4. Package Expiration

To ensure consistency and achieve the best training results, packages must be completed within the following timeframes, beginning on the date of the first training session:

3-Session Package: Expires after 8 weeks

6-Session Package: Expires after 12 weeks

Unused sessions remaining after the expiration date are forfeited unless an extension has been approved by the trainer.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will incur a $50 cancellation fee, payable before any future training sessions are scheduled.

6. Client Responsibilities

Successful dog training depends on consistency and follow-through outside of scheduled sessions.

The client agrees to:

Practice the training exercises provided between sessions.

Follow safety instructions during training.

Inform the trainer of any changes in the dog's health or behaviour.

Ensure all household members participating in training follow the recommended training plan whenever possible.

7. Trainer Responsibilities

The trainer agrees to provide professional instruction, individualized coaching, and training recommendations based on the needs of the client and their dog.

Because every dog learns differently and owner consistency plays a significant role in training success, no specific behavioural outcome or timeline can be guaranteed.

8. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Dog training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, falls, leash-related injuries, property damage, and unpredictable animal behaviour.

By participating in training, the client voluntarily assumes these risks and acknowledges that they remain responsible for their dog's actions during and outside of training sessions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the client releases and holds harmless the trainer from liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in training, except where caused by the trainer's gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

9. Photo & Video Consent

Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during training sessions for educational purposes or for use on the trainer's website, social media, promotional materials, or other marketing content.

10. Trainer's Right to Terminate Services

The trainer reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if:

The client behaves in an abusive, threatening, or disrespectful manner.

The client repeatedly fails to follow safety instructions.

Payment obligations are not met.

The trainer determines that continuing services would present an unreasonable safety risk.

Any decision regarding unused sessions following termination of services shall be at the sole discretion of the trainer.

11. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Any changes will apply to new services or purchases made after the updated Terms are posted on this website. Existing agreements will continue to be governed by the version of the Terms accepted at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.
